Meet Taylor Nick
Taylor’s entire life has been a pursuit of the meaning of beauty. This began with a Bachelor’s of Studio Art in Spain when she was 19 years old, led to becoming a Master Hair & Makeup Artist for 15 years, and bloomed into a journey beyond skin deep to discover what contributes to the beauty of someone’s soul.
Through the course of that journey, Taylor has styled celebrities including Reba, Charlie Daniels, Michael Ray, Sarah Darling, Jenee Fleenor, and Nada Taha; worked on the red carpet and backstage for the CMA Awards, and been Lead Makeup Artist at Nashville Fashion Week for Anna Sui, Amanda Valentine, Johnathan Kayne, and Any Old Iron.
Taylor’s Boho Braid tutorial was the first guest post on Kristin Ess and Lauren Conrad’s The Beauty Department blog, and she won the gold medal in hairstyling at SkillsUSA. With the non-profit Look Good Feel Better, she taught women with cancer how to feel beautiful, as well as volunteered on community rehabilitation trips in Mexico City and the rainforest tribes of Panama.
Her questions about the nature of inner beauty led her to pursue psycho-spiritual studies, guiding her to become a Human Design Reader, Inner Voice Facilitator, Certified Reiki Therapist, and Flower Remedy Practitioner. She believes that glowing beauty does not come from covering up with products but from releasing anything that hides the true self.
Taylor created Nashville’s first wellness community workspace The Healing Society to be a haven for inner transformation, providing a place for all kinds of practitioners to work alongside each other and support others in finding healing, growth, and authentic self-expression.
Taylor lives in Nashville with her husband of 15 years and their two boys. She loves reading esoteric paperbacks, wandering antique malls, hiking to waterfalls, and planting wildflowers around her house. She is an Enneagram 4, Manifesting Generator, and Aries sun, Taurus moon, and Virgo rising.

Beauty
With a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art from Florida State University, and twelve years as a hair and makeup artist, I now help people reveal their inner beauty through reconnecting with their true self. When you remove the masks that are hiding your soul, the light of the Divine glows within you and is felt by others as beauty.
Energy
Everyone has their own energy and when we use it correctly, life can be so much easier than we’ve been told. We’re on the forefront of understanding how our inner energies shape our lives. Humanity depended on the energy of light, gravity and magnets long before we knew what to call them. As a Reiki Therapist and Human Design Reader, I’ve studied the human energy field and now teach others how to align with their inner currents and ride the waves where they want to go.
Wisdom
Your inner voice is your soul trying to help you on your life path. The mind has many ideas about what you should do, based on what it’s seen in the world, but you have your own unique journey. As a certified Inner Voice facilitator, I teach practical techniques to help you calm your thoughts and access the timeless wisdom you have deep inside.
Spirituality
Even though I was raised Christian, I enjoy studying the mystics from every culture. I believe that God is bigger than human understanding and spirituality is about engaging with the mysteries of the Universe on a personal level. When Christ said ‘The kingdom of Heaven is within you,’ I believe he was affirming the presence of God in every single person, and that we are each meant to be a channel of unconditional love and healing in the world.
